Swift Wings of Time - a Poem About Time

Wendy Dawn

Time is for the bosom of youth,
For when spring is here there is time to spare.

Embrace time, though you know not why,
In its moment it soon will flee, as air.

As a winding river unfolds,
So the days of youth linger and delay.

As crashing waters sound the falls,
The days of the aged fall swiftly away.

Winter days turn both short and cold.
There's no hesitation as time unfolds.

Live within time clinging for life,
When in fullness time comes tis none to hold.

Remember and take advantages of the lessons from the past. Plan with care for the future. And never forget to live this very moment.

i like the poem, i love the style. the truth (for me) is that time moves incredably slow. while this was great while i was young, in my present situation it is torture.
