Easy Set Up, Take Down, and Storage
The twist-and-fold design of the Swimways Spring Pool makes for super easy set up and take down. When I took the pool out of the round storage package, I just had to untwist it and it was ready to be filled with both air and water. The upper ring needs to be inflated, but it only took me a minute to fill it with air. As I filled the pool with water, the ring kept the top of the pool level on my uneven back lawn.
To take down the Swimways Spring Pool, there is a plug at the bottom that can be unplugged for a slow drain, or the sides can be pushed down to empty the pool quickly by allowing the water to flow over the sides. The air can be drained from the inflatable ring as quickly as it can be filled. Once the pool is dry it can be twisted and easily slid into the same package it came it. The Swimways Spring Pool is also easy to take to a grandparent's or friend's house who don't have their own pool.
Safe Design
The non-slippery bottom and soft sides of the Swimways Spring Pool make it a very safe design. The plastic bottom of the pool provides good grip without uncomfortable texture. My son hasn't slipped once. The sides of the pool have no hard or scratchy elements that children can hurt themselves on. Even the plug on the bottom of the pool is made out of a soft rubber with rounded edges.
My model of the Swimways Spring Pool doesn't have the mesh canopy, but since I bought mine, I have seen several models that include a canopy to protect children from the sun while they play. The mesh sides of the canopy allow parents to see their children from all angles.
Good Quality Materials
The sides and bottom of the pool are made from sturdy materials that seem thick enough to last several summers. Repair patches are provided in the event that a leak springs in the pool.
Kid Appeal
My son loves his Swimways Spring Pool. It is big enough for him to move around, kick, splash, and blow bubbles but it isn't so big that he feels insecure. He loves the illustrations of the fishes and turtles on the inflatable upper ring. When we are out in town and the temperature is rising, the first thing he says "I'm ready to go home and play in my pool."
