Below is a list of objects that are believed to increase or bring luck. There are several different areas of life to which these objects of luck may apply. Lucky objects can be used to attract luck in areas of business, love, health, money, and more.
The first objects listed relate to luck in business. Considering the tough economy, a little luck in business couldn't hurt. Perhaps, some of these lucky charms can help with your business endeavors.
Coins:
A lucky coin can be a great addition to any luck seeker's collection of charms. It is said that a lucky coin placed and kept in a pocket or purse will bring more money to join it. If you are drawn to a particular bill or coin, hang on to it, it might be your lucky charm.
Elephants:
In some cultures, elephants are perceived to be symbols of wealth, good fortune, strength, and good luck. This is especially true if the elephant's trunk is pointing in an upward direction and not towards the ground. Wearing a piece of jewelery featuring an elephant or keeping an elephant figurine or picture in your home can attract strength and luck in business.
Bloodstone:
Bloodstone is thought to be a symbol of good luck in matters of money and business. It is also thought to increase physical strength and enhance courage in debates. Wear this gemstone in jewelery or keep a loose stone in your pocket to help you with luck at your place of work. This charm is especially handy when delivering a speech or participating in a debate.
The next set of objects listed are believed to protect us from bad luck or negative energy. There are many items described below based on the beliefs of people from all over the world.
The Evil Eye:
Several cultures believe in the protection of the evil eye charm. The evil eye can be found in many religions as well. The evil eye charm is thought to protect from negative energies. It is often worn as jewelery to protect the wearer or hung as a decoration to protect the home.
Horseshoe:
The horseshoe has long been thought of as a symbol of good luck. It is custom for the shoe to be pointing upwards in a U shaped position in order to be lucky. The horseshoe is believed to symbolize protection, being that its job is to protect the horse. It is also considered to be a protector against the evil eye.
Star:
In ancient times, the stars were believed to determine good luck and good fortunes for those on Earth. Stars were worn in emblems as symbols of luck granted from the universe. Also, some believe that the geometric shape of the star was created by Pythagoras to signify perfection.
Four-Leafed Clover:
The shamrock or four-leafed clover is a widely recognized symbol of luck. Each of its four leaves are believed to symbolize a separate characteristic of luck. These characteristics include, health, love, wealth, and fame. Some believe that finding or possessing a four-leafed clover will protect from evil and bad luck. Others believe it will bring good fortune. It is said that wearing a four-leafed clover will attract love. Dreaming of a shamrock is thought to be even luckier! Many believe that a four-leafed clover in a dream signifies that the dreamer will lead a happy life.
Skull:
Believe it or not, many ancient cultures perceived human skulls to be symbols of good luck and protection. The skull was thought to be the resting place of intelligence. Skulls were believed to protect against illness and evil. They were also noted as symbols of power and strength due to their superior resistance to decay compared to other bones in the human body.
The above are only a handful of the many luck charms available. Anything can be lucky if you believe it is so. It is often said that luck is derived from the belief of the receiver. Believe in the object and you shall receive its luck.
