to meet and share
learn and uplift
Some call friendship the song of the heart
love's best form
unconditional love
from cradle to grave
Some call romantic love the wish of the soul
to be held and loved
supported and encouraged
to have someone on your side
day and night
unquestioningly
Some call death the song of the swallow
a final melody that hangs in the air
above the heads of those who love us
as they say their goodbyes
to our bodies
in the earth
Everything we have experienced, or will experience
in this life or not
brings us together
in a harmonious rapture
each being sounding it's clearest, purest tone
making music together in the heavens
The symphony of souls
