The device is equipped with a dimension of 12.3 x 10.1 x 1.5 inch that has a weight of 5lbs.
The Systemax Assault Ruggedized is equipped with a screen of 14.1 inch that has a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. Unlike other device in the notebook market, the screen of the Systemax Assault Ruggedized is equipped with a matte finish. It has been discover or commended that the viewing angles of the screen is quite impressive unlike other device we've seen in the notebook market.
Keyboard and Touchpad
The keyboard featured in the device is quite nice especially for a good and frequent typist. The keys are adequate equipped with a good texture in which a procurer would get the best in the typing of document. One quibble a procurer would find about the keys featured in the device is that the spacing are not quite large.
The performance of a device or notebook is determined by the processor in which it is equipped with. The Systemax Company has really done a great job in order to equip the notebook with a standard processor that would match other notebooks in the market. The Assault Ruggedized notebook is equipped with a Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2.0GHz processor, which is quite handy. One would note that the device is quite standard with regards to the processor it is equipped with. When compared with the Sony VAIO TZ, one procurer would know that the Assault Ruggedized notebook is quite superior to it. The Sony VAIO TZ is equipped with a Core 2 Duo U7600 @ 1.20GHz processor, which is lower that the Assault Systemax notebook.
The Systemax Company found it necessary to equip the Assault Ruggedized notebook with an Intel 945GM chipset that has an integrated graphics of GMA950.
The device also supports the wPrime program that compares the processor to perform mathematical calculations.
The ports featured in the device are quite adequate for a 14.1 inch screen notebook The Systemax Company has really done a good job in the Assault Ruggedized notebook, which made it quite handy and of great benefit to a procurer. The right side of the device is equipped with a Firewire connector, Serial plug and three USB plug while the left side of the device features a CPU Exhaust, AC Plug, VGA connector, modem/LAN connectors and many more. The rear of the Assault Ruggedized notebook is equipped with the battery.
A procurer should know what to expect with a notebook that is made of metal. This is because it the device has been used to perform a high demanding task, it would give a procurer a warm temperature. A procurer would have quibble about the fan of the device, because it makes noise.
Battery
A 6-cell battery supplies power to the Assault Ruggedized notebook, which is quite handy and high performing. The battery featured in the device is equipped with a capacity of 4.4 Ah. When a procurer used the notebook in play movies, games and other graphic applications the battery life is equipped to stay for about 160 minutes. But if normal applications are used the battery life would be increased or extended.
