SYTYCD - Top 14 Perform

It's getting close to the top 10, and the dancers are going all out to win the votes to continue dancing on So You Think You Can Dance. The top 14 are sure to put on an amazing show, so hold onto your seats - we're in for a ride!

Remember the three couples with the fewest votes have to dance for their lives tomorrow - and that the judges will choose one guy and one girl from them to go home. So vote - your favorites need you to stay safe!

This week is featuring childhood moments and photos. There was some funny stuff.

Ashleigh and Jakob
Style: Hip-hop
Choreographer: Tabitha and Napoleon (NappyTabs)
Story: They're in love, and he cheats on her.

Adam: Jakob is a sure bet for top 10. Crushing it this season. Although he didn't believe in her at first, but thinks she's amazing.
Mary: Said Ashleigh was a star tonight. Jakob always hits it, did it again.
Nigel: loved the routine. Predicted they will both be in the top 10. Superb.

Karen and Kevin
Style: Broadway
Choreographer: Spencer Liff (new choreographer)
Story: Guy given bad news, girlfriend has to cheer him up.

Adam: A bump in the road.
Mary: Needed to be more. Seemed nice and safe, but never got into it. Kevin was awkward, they didn't connect. A bump in the road after really good weeks.
Nigel: Didn't enjoy Karen's performance, didn't bring enough humor. Kevin didn't bring even as much as Karen. Not a good review. No chemistry for characters or music. Disappointed.
Cat also pointed out Kevin's very sparkly shoes, which he admitted his old friends would be surprised by.

Noelle and Russell
Style: Fox Trot
Note: Russell and Noelle drew the fox trot the first week. Noelle was hurt, and Russell performed with Melanie.

Adam: Joy was the best thing about the performance. Very confident for a hip hop krumper and a contemporary dancer, and they were absolutely fantastic.
Mary: Loves Russell, said he was so much smoother, top line so much better. Noelle was flowing and looking perfectly elegant. So proud of the two of them.
Nigel: Russell has vastly improved since a few weeks ago. Noelle is a fighter, and is growing in her own right.

Channing and Victor
Style: Jazz
Choreographer: Tyce Diorio
Story: Two curious eclectic blackbirds coming out to play. They feed off of each other.
Music: Blackbird - Bobby McFerrin

Adam: For the first time, Channing seems to be finding her place on the show. She's letting down her guard and opening up. Loves Victor, wants him to find a way to let go.
Mary: Loved the format, quirkiness. Thought they brought it to life. So much fun.
Nigel: Loved that Channing enjoyed herself in the performance. Proud of Victor's growth, but wants him to push himself a little more. Superb dancer, but competition is getting tougher.

Kathryn and Legacy
Style: Paso Doble
Choreographer: Tony Meredith
Story: He's an Admiral from Naval Fleet, sees his lover (who is mad at him because she didn't know if he was coming back).
Music: Pusuit - Ka

Adam: Kathryn killed it. Legacy's stamina has grown incredibly. Also predicted Legacy will make the top 10 due to his growth. He's an inspiration, and no longer just a break dancer, but a dancer.
Mary: Kathryn was a vixen and played it perfectly. Legacy portrayed a perfect character. Legacy is surprising everyone week to week, blowing their minds.
Nigel: Kathryn danced with fantastic maturity, intensity and passion. He saw Legacy practicing every time he ran into him this week. Nigel predicted Legacy will make it in the top 10.

Ellenore and Ryan
Style: Contemporary
Choreographer: Travis Wall
Story: Reunited couple, reintroduced ten years down the road. He realizes he missed out on the best thing, she's over it.
Music: Your Ex-Lover's Dead - Stars

Adam: Travis, Ellenore and Ryan - SYTYCD truly started. Loved many things throughout SYTYCD Season 6, hasn't had a mind-blowing, breath-catching moment. Had it during that routine. Commitment to the story was amazing.
Mary: Ellenore is the perfect blend of gorgeous and star quality moments. Her technique and beauty, as well as her ability to transform into any character make her great. Ryan was always there to catch, with perfect timing. Thought the routine was perfect, couldn't have been any better, period. So proud of the two of them.
Nigel: Thinks they've cemented their place for next week. Loved Travis Wall's piece, his favorite of the season. Enjoyed Ryan's strength and easy lifts. Thinks that Ryan is the best ballroom dancer that has ever done contemporary. Choreographers have all said Ellenore is extremely talented and takes on roles.

Mollee and Nathan
Style: Pop Jazz

Adam: Thinks it was fantastic. Wants more shadings in their chemistry from choreographers.
Mary: Loves having the 'Dream Team' back again. Last week was not good, this week is a different story. Mollee was perfection and Nathan was as well. Really good.
Nigel: They both dug so deep on the routine this week. Thinks Nathan is extremely talented, not going to be easy on him. He wants Nathan to grow, thinks he has the potential to be one of the best dancers the show has ever seen. Mollee has amazing commitment that will take her far. Glad they had Laurieanne this week to knock them into shape.

Update on Dizzy Feet Foundation

July 1st - Dizzy Feet Foundation started. In four months, they raised enough money to fund scholarships for four students. On November 29th they are holding their first Celebration of Dance at Hollywood's Kodak Theater. The performers will be from So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, America's Favorite Dance Crew - Quest, Groovelous, the stars of the Step Up trilogy and dancers from Julliard, American Ballet Theater, and American Dance Theater. Also appearing will be the Dizzy Feet's scholarship recipients and LA's Best - a dance school that Dizzy Feet helps coordinate.
