Table Top Haier Dishwasher: Appliance Review
If You're Tired of Scrubbing but Have Limited Kitchen Space Consider This Little Table Top

Length of Cycle: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
Product Overview:
The Haier compact built-in dishwasher is just that, compact. It stacks in at just a little under 3 cubic feet, which I find to be plenty of washing space. I live alone and hate to wash dishes, especially in a dishwasher that is half full. I feel that it is such a waste of energy and water that I'll often wash a single meal's dishes by hand, which left my old washer unused. The Haier has been the solution. So now I don't have tons of foul dirty dishes stacking up in my old big dishwasher, or in my sink waiting for a full load. I can now fill the Haier HDT18PA after cooking just two meals.
Installation I found to be a breeze, just attach it to your standard sink nozzle and send the discharge down the drain. To keep everything out of the way when you're not running it just store the hoses elsewhere until they're needed. It may sound like a hassle but it really isn't. In fact if you decided to leave it as a table top model then store the whole darn machine away!
The performance is above par. I found that even tough dried on messes come clean with a single run. I never prewash or rinse my dishes so I was surprised to see that this little washer had the power to tackle those stuck on messes. It may have something to do with how close everything is packed together; the dishes seem to be much closer to all of the jets. The cycles are quick and produce a nominal amount of noise. The most annoying thing is the alert that sounds when your dishwashing cycle is finished.
Overall Value:
This dishwasher is perfect for those that are looking to either reclaim some kitchen space during a remodel or add a dishwasher to a kitchen with limited space. Small kitchens in apartments, hunting cabins, trailer homes or condos will benefit the most from the space saving ability that the Haier HDT18PA offers. Priced at about $200 this little washer is the perfect solution for those of you who hate to get your hands wet.
