To tell you frankly, I like the name Imelda Park (after former first lady Imelda Marcos). I don't know. I just like it. :'p But I've learned just recently from this story from gma news: http://www.gmanews.tv/story/147813/baguios-botanical-garden-gets-new-name that it will be renamed as Centennial Park. I really don't understand why this park has lots of aliases. Anyway, let's just call it TaeBaek City Park for the time being (owing to my photo under the TaeBaek signage). :'p

How to get there? For one, there are cabs with trustworthy drivers. Just say, "Manong, idjay tayo Botanical Garden" (Let's go to Botanical Garden) and they will bring you there with ease. If you say, "Idjay tayo TaeBaek City Park" (Let's go to TaeBaek City Park), they might not know where it is. So it's better to be safe than sorry, agree?

Or you can also take the old reliable Mines View jeepneys for less than 10 pesos fare. They are found near McDonald's in Session Road. Just talk to a friendly local and say, "Ayanna ti paradaan ti Mines View?" (Where are the Mines View jeepneys parked?)

Of course, once you enter the jeepney, talk to the driver so he will drop you off at Botanical Garden. "Manong, pakibaba nak man idjay Botanical Garden" (Please drop me off at Botanical Garden).
