Take Care of Split Ends, Frizz, Dullness, and Flatness

4 Common Hair Problems Solved

We all have problems with our hair, some more than others. In this guide you will find out how four of the most common hair problems are caused, how to fix them, and even how to prevent them from happening in the future. The four common hair problems we will discuss in this guide are, split ends, frizz, dullness, and flatness.

Split Ends- Split ends are mainly caused by too much styling, or over use of products. Split ends can also be caused by heat from styling tools. The only way to truly fix split ends is to cut them off and start fresh. To avoid getting split ends in the future, wash your hair with protein rich shampoo, good conditioners, not the cheap ones, and products that help protect your hair from heat damage.

Frizz- Your hair gets frizzy because it is dried out or your hair is otherwise damaged. Fix and fight frizz by drying your hair completely and using a smoothing serum after it is dry. To avoid having frizzy hair in the future, use hydrating shampoos and conditioners for the best results. Also products with heat protection may help cut back on future damage to your hair that may cause frizz.

Dullness- Your hair can begin to look dull if you have a build up of styling and hair care products in it. Damaged hair will also look dull. To fix this common hair problem, deep clean with a clarifying shampoo to get rid of the product build up. To prevent dullness in the future, deep condition weekly, use an ion hair dryer, and switch to a boars bristle brush. All three of these things will help combat dullness and help hair shine.

Flatness- Having flat hair is mainly hereditary, but can be caused by using the wrong hair care products. Be sure you are using the right kind of hair care and styling products before anything else. If you just have flat hair you can't really fix it but you can make it a little better with these tips. Avoid using any hair care products that are for smoothing or straightening, as they will weigh your hair down and make it more flat. I also advise that you use conditioner sparingly for this reason. To add a bit of volume and boost, blow dry your hair upside down and use volumizing mousse when styling your hair.
