Take a Chill Pill....as Long as Its Not an Illegal Narcotic

when most people hear the word drugs they probably think of crackheads and potheads destroying our society and corrupting children even though the american society has been built on ignorance bloodshed and greed and where kids end up is the sole responsibility of parents, i think its because too many people have been influenced by the years of drugs are bad just say no campaigns.

mind altering substances have been a part of human culture for as long as we've exsisted their purpose ranging from recreational to ceremonial to medicinal even though those were simply narurally growing herbs and plants and different tree barks etc. they werent abused to the extent it was a serious problem.
Now to me a real drug was manmade such as heroine pain pills cocaine and alcohol(yes im sure im not the only one who feels that way but this is an opinion and thats what im stating). Personally i think alcohol is one of if not the worse mind altering substance out there why you may ask because more people have been killed or injured while intoxicated more than any other drug. Yes of course drugs like coke and heroine kill but only if you take too much or you get involved in trafficing it and thats not the substance itself killing it comes down to people having a lack discipline and self control.

What bugs me the most are the misconceptions of those drugs especially pot while the effects of it are mere speculation because ive known people on it and ive been on pot and it doesnt do anything like what anti drug commercials have stated especially since they have contradicting views one commercial says it makes you do nothing then another says it makes you do stupid things. pot does not lower motor skill or inhabitions or reaction time i should know because i passed my drivers test high as a kite and If pot really did lower reaction time and motor skills how the hell is willie nelson still playing guitar? ninety nine percent of the time anyone saying drugs are bad probably hasnt even tried them.

Another thing that bugs me is how much money is being spent on anti drug measures all the campaigning and commercials its a waste because ironically some of the reasons people turn to drugs is because they're poor and have nothing they cant get jobs so why not pool that money to solve those problems first and getting parents to be a little more open minded about it because if anyone out there has kids they should know if you tell a kid not to do something because its bad they'll do it anyway and that goes double for teenagers.
