Daytime Nude
This fall, daytime looks are uncomplicated and fresh with plenty of emphasis on good-looking eyebrows. Spend a little time keeping your eyebrows shaped in a medium to full style. Brush eyebrows upwards and outward before every makeup application. Avoid over plucking and use a pencil brush to fill in any natural gaps. Use these steps for a natural fall look.
• Cover the eye with an eye primer.
• Allow the primer to dry before applying your eyeshadow.
• Select an eyeshadow that matches your skin tone.
• Sweep the eyeshadow over the entire eyelid using a long-tipped eyeshadow brush.
• Use your finger to locate your brow bone.
• Squirt a small amount of copper liquid eyeshadow on to your fingertip or choose a liquid shadow that is two shades darker than your natural skin tone.
• Rub the eyeshadow into the brow bone with the tip of your finger.
• Line the top of your eye with brown eyeliner.
• Finish off lashes with brown or black mascara.
Smoldering Fall Eyes
The big trend at fall fashion week was smoldering fall eyes. Romantic and colorful, this rich look is perfect for a fun night out or a sultry night in. Try using a mix of two opulent fall colors like gold and deep plum. A pairing of forest green and copper would also give you stunning results. Use these simple steps to take your eyes from Mom Next Door to Glam Chic.
• Brush your eyebrows up and outwards. Give brows additional shape by using a brow liner.
• Dab on eye primer to keep your eyeshadow from moving around in case you sweat or hit the dance floor. Allow the primer to dry for 30 seconds before you apply your eyeshadow.
• Pick eyeliner that matches your accent or darkest eyeshadow. Draw in the crease of the eyelid making an arc from the inner to the outer eye.
• Rub the crease gently with a sponge tipped applicator.
• Apply the lightest eyeshadow from the top of the shadow crease to under the brow bone.
• Cover the entire bottom lid with the accent eyeshadow.
• Blend the light and dark colors together smoothing them at the crease with your brush.
• Roll on black or deep purple eyeliner to the top and bottom lashes.
• Add two coats of mascara but do not allow them to dry in between coats. You want volume, not a lot of length for this makeup look.
Fall isn't just for back to school, it's back to glamour too, Mom! Imagine that?
