Manna is a great organization that feeds people and helps remind us all that we may need help one day too. The chefs compete in two categories, sweet and savory and one dish will be selected as the Philly Cooks "Dish of the Year" . You'll probably get to see people who've been cooking for you behind the scenes in the kitchens across the city. Or maybe like me you used to work at a fancy place and want to see what's new in food fashion. Maybe you have like ten favorite places and want to add on three or four more. Whatever the reason, single, attached, what-ever you'll be sure to meet people you'll have something in common with and each small sample is an opportunity to reach out and say something inviting. For example, "Have you like tried this? It's kinda good." Or you might say" Could you maybe show me how to make this: one day? one night? at my place? at your place, etc? Chefs need love too and they work funny hours. While you were out on Valentines night legions of people had to work and were away from their lovables. It's not the same two nights later. Even if it's extra delicious and fun to be in love with a chef.

Always consider what people have to go through to make us happy. Don't obsess over it but do consider the wait staff's needs when you are out on the town. Say please and thank you and ask for things like ladies and gentlemen. None of that Michelle "snap snap of the fingers in the air". They didn't like that then or now. Not that I don't adore Michelle. It's just, well, you remember who we were. And what we did? One summer not last summer... Still I wouldn't change a thing. We were co-workers fighting over a guy not money as might have been assumed by the cognoscenti. It's always about a guy. Even when she was approximately 31 and I was actually 25. It was always about a guy. And why wouldn't it be y'all?: "Tell em it's human nature, Michael. Also, there's no Bambi working here. Put the pipe down Andy, before we git in trouble, dude." Those are all the things we shouldn'ta said, yo. And so it goes. Blah Blah Blah. Moah.
