It's time to put differences aside
And think about what we have;
It's time to let go of all the pain
And the things that make us mad.
It's time to unite a single voice
And to work our way towards peace.
It's time to forget we're not alike
And to make all hatred cease.
It's a time for life and love and faith;
For hope to be born anew.
It's time to see commonality
In what that we say and do.
It's time to reach out a helping hand
Not expecting a return.
It's time to get that which is deserved
Without having it be earned.
It's time that we understand ourselves;
All our foibles and our fears.
It's time to release our senseless ire
And to wipe away ours tears.
It's time to believe that we can do
Whatever needs to be done.
It's time that we committed ourselves
To finally join as one.
For if we refuse to take these steps
And let things remain the same,
We have all lost the right to survive
In what's left of life's last game.
We are the children of one great God
Who has only one command;
To love one another as ourselves
And to take that final stand.
