Take a Super Vacation to Celebrate Your College Graduation!

You Earned It; You Deserve It!

Lynda Braun
You know you have earned this vacation and totally deserve it. So what are you waiting for?
Here are 5 great vacation destinations for college graduates:

1. Las Vegas, Nevada
Most people have Las Vegas on their wish list, so this is the perfect time to take that trip.
Imagine traveling with a few friends to this glamorous place where first rate entertainment, gambling, accommodations and food await you. With the state of our economy, we must be budget minded, so keep watching the internet for the best airfare. Remember, summer is off season, so you can secure some great prices. Don't be afraid to check prices, even in the wee hours of the morning, because I have been able to save hundreds of dollars by doing this. Believe it or not, by traveling off season, you can purchase a room in the five diamond, world famous, "Bellagio Hotel" for only $129 per night. This is a great deal, and I would walk, not run, to book this, May - August. Since Las Vegas is such a popular destination, you will be sure to meet up with many other young people. Enjoy!

2. Montreal, Canada
Montreal is a fantastic vacation for any college graduate. Hotels, gambling, dining, and entertainment are at your fingertips in Montreal. First of all, you can drive, fly, or take a train to Montreal. Hotels are not expensive and range from inexpensive to high end. The food is fantastic, and you can spend as little or as much as you please. The club scene is incredible, and I can personally tell you that college graduates find Montreal an awesome vacation destination. You may be speaking French by the time you leave.

3. England, France, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain
A trip to Europe is unbelievable. I should know, as I went to Majorca, Spain for my graduation. Wow, what a trip! Spend the night in a Spanish Hacienda, and visit the beaches of Malaga and Torromolinos. I would decide which country to visit, based on the cheapest airfare. Right now, Ireland has the best prices, but keep checking. Round trip from New York to Dublin, Ireland will cost about $439 round trip which is a great price. And who wouldn't want to spend the night in a castle? Now, you simply cannot miss the wonderful food and people of Italy. I can vouch that this is a perfect vacation spot! Don't forget to drive along the Almalfi coast and visit the ruins of Pompei. Travel the subway throughout Europe, and you can save alot of money. Once again, you can travel according to any kind of budget; from a small hotel, to a large one, from a gourmet meal to salami and cheese. I enjoyed alot of cheese sandwiches in Spain; added some nice wine, and it was heavenly. The London theater, Big Ben, and the Changing of the Guard is worth a trip to England. Stop at Shakespeare's home and visit the city of Bath. You will love the sights and culture of England. My trip there was sensational. Flying to Greece is a once in a lifetime experience. The hotels are reasonably priced and the culture is incredible. If you can, don't miss taking a boat tour to some of the Greek islands. Believe me, they are as beautiful as anything you could ever imagine. If eating fine food "is your thing," you won't find any cuisine better than the food of France. You may even end your trip learning to speak French. As you can see, a trip to Europe offers so much for any graduate. The culture alone is worth everything!! So, don't be shy, and fly to Europe.

4. Amsterdam, Holland stands alone in the European crowd for college graduate travel. The atmosphere is totally unlike anything you have encountered. The hotels are quaint, and relatively inexpensive. The luxurious Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is reasonabley priced starting at $129 per night. This is a newly renovated , dome shaped hotel with an ideal location across from the train station. The clubs and parties are unbelievable. Again, make sure you get a good price on airfare. Food and hotel are less expensive and entertainment takes care of itself. Don't miss visiting, Anne Frank's House and the canals.

5. Last, but certainly not least, is the Caribbean. Any island, any time, any how, will do. This type of vacation appeals to the beach bum in all of us. After receiving that college diploma, a well earned rest is deserved. Just check online, for the island that will give you the best price in airfare. Right now, the summer price for the Bahamas is fantastic--$216 round trip. Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and The Dominican Republic, all offer competitive airfare. You may wish to stay at an all-inclusive resort, where everything is included. This is a totally laid back but fun vacation, and I highly recommend it to anyone. You won't be sorry!

Congratulations on your graduation and have an incredible trip!
