Sometimes you think the path you are taking, is less fortunate, and that things just aren't going your way. You might even get angry, fed up, and depressed. I am sure many of us have been there, and done that.
Now I am not saying it is good to compare yourself to others. To boast in their less fortune, or anything like that. What it is that I am trying to say however is this:
Take the time to be thankful for that which you do have.
There are people in this world with disabilities; there are people who have even lost custody of their own children-for whatever reason, good or bad. Although it is not your concern, or even your problem- it is however, your turn to be grateful that you have what you do have. Your health, your children, your job-whatever it is.
If you are not religious, you can still be thankful, and grateful. It doesn't take religion to realize that you need to take the time to quit complaining and look around you. In one way or another, you just might be better of then someone else. And for this, you should be glad. Therefore you should be grateful and thankful.
Now, if you are religious, this is the time where you should be thanking God, because He has blessed you. Sure, things might not be going the way you want them to, but still-you have what you do have, because of the guidance and blessings of the Lord. So when you sit down and do your prayer requests, and are thanking God, remember to thank Him for what you do have, and even what you don't.
