Take a Trip Down to Nashville with the Indie Rock Band Queens Boulevard

Queens Boulevard Take the Nashville Underground Rock Scene by Storm

RC Shivers
Queens Boulevard can be a hectic highway connecting several major neighborhoods in the Queens borough of New York City, but four guys from seemingly diverse backgrounds ranging from New York to Philly to Murfreesboro to Indiana took the name in 2009 and have been touring the east coast with their own brand of alternative rock Music.

Dustin, Dennis, Ben and Rev. are a different side of the country music capital, Nashville, Tennessee. This indie rock band is influenced by such diverse stars as The Deftones, Rick James and Led Zeppelin. Whether it's acoustic or electric, their edgy vocals and striking guitar combined with power on the drums and the occasional sax and djembe...yes djembe... in songs like Through The Night, She Said, and Merrick Road grab the audience and take them to a place only great tunes can take them.

Managed by the Pier Music Group of Nashville, Queens Boulevard is touring hard in support of their 2010 four track EP "Red Light Affair". After a busy summer schedule touring from Nashville to Indiana at places like the famous Music City Bar and The Blue Rooster, Queens Boulevard will be returning to the studio to record their follow up album.

Fans can visit their MySpace page to get a taste of the band that took the Nashville underground scene by storm, or you can catch them live in Nashville or up in New York in the coming months. If you dig music videos, click the link and add them as a favorite to your YouTube page.

Like the band says, "Though its streets may not be lined with gold, the company that you keep will most certainly not disappoint."
