First of all, give them a nice name that suits them. Don't keep calling them "my stuffed rabbit" or "my stuffed doggie". Give them a name that will make you remember them by the heart and make them close to you.
After that, buy your stuffed pet some friends to "hang out" with. Make them your friends, too, and give them cute names that suit them. The more lovely pets you have, the merrier.
You can also make a bag special for your little stuffed animal to carry it around in. Add its nice accessories and little clothes. You will be able to change your pet's look anywhere you go. Be sure to make it little and easy to carry around everywhere.
You might also consider making a small little cute "house" for your pet. Get a small pillow and a piece of cloth and put it in a little box. Be sure to make a little friend for your pet to live with if you are not going to visit it frequently!
Of course, you will have to take care well of your pet so make sure it's always clean. Dust it off regularly. If they are too dirty, you can wash it so that it gets all clean again. Make sure that you read the washing instructions before doing so, though, as you might do something wrong and spoil it. Don't just make sure they are clean; make sure they are perfectly well, too! If they have a cut or a tear here or there, you can stitch those up by basic sewing. If you don't know how, you can ask someone of your family or friends who knows. Your grandmother or your mother or anyone who does frequent sewing will surely tell you.
Don't ever neglect your little cutie. It needs your love, so hang around with it as often as you can and give it all the love you got. Watch movies with them, walk around the park carrying them with you or read them stories. Don't forget them in their houses so much, nor let them sleep alone at night. They can be afraid of the dark, too, so give them your protection!
Don't ever treat your stuffed friend as just a toy. Think of them as your pets and close friends. Share your secrets with them, tell them your innermost thoughts and love them all you can. Take care of them and never neglect or forget them. You will surely have a great pet as your closest friend!
