Taking a Cruise? It's Cheaper Than You Think

Kerry Mulherin
More and more, people are opting for a more slow paced vacation. Choosing to take a cruise is the best decision for such plans.

Convenience:

Taking a cruise has more benefits than meets the eye. All delicious gourmet meals and air transfers to and from your departure port are inclusive when booking your vacation. Once aboard, you can pace yourself according to your mood. Nightclubs, Casinos and the more upscale restaurants are all the rage on board, but if you'd prefer to soak up the panorama of the sea from your deck chair by the scenic pool, you are most welcome to do just that. Lounging by the pool and being waited on can be glorious fun in itself!

Cruising With Children:

If you're traveling with children, some cruise lines even offer a "kids travel free" option. This is well worth researching, especially if you have more than one child. Children are generally required to be under 12 years of age to sail free, and once on board they will be thrilled at the array of activities available to them. Fully supervised programs on board cruise ships can allow your kids the fun of meeting other children whilst playing games and learning. You are afforded time to relax and plan a whole day's outing just for yourselves, knowing your children are in safe, capable hands doing what kids do best, having fun!

Booking Your Cruise:

You may wish to bypass the Travel Agencies and book your tour online or call a reservation Concierge to take care of the details for you. Online you are able to select your preferred destination, and include or exclude any of the available services.

Cruises these days are fully wheelchair accessible and other special needs can also be catered for.

Destinations:

Cruises go to wherever you want to be taken! The Bahamas, Alaska, Hawaii and most ports in Europe, the list is endless.....what a wonderful and unique journey to take.

Bargain Prices:

Online you will find many discount destinations for your holiday. If you're using a Travel Agent, make sure you always ask for a current list of promotional offers.

*At the time of this review, I located a fabulous 4 night getaway in the Western Caribbean for just $189.

The usual list price was showing around $850, so you can see an approximate 80% savings on this cruise alone. At these prices you could well afford to make this an annual event.

Bon Voyage!

Great point Sheri, I couldn't agree more. Moving 'house' several times per week is just a pain.
