Taking the Dove Five Day Test

I had forgotten that I even signed up for a sample of dove deodorant. Since, I sign up for many free samples.

With this sample dove wants "you" to take the five-day test. It is supposed to make your under arms soft and smooth. Getting your underarms ready for sleeveless shirts. In the commercial for it, Dove gives five women two kinds of shirt short sleeves and sleeveless and a stick of dove. After five days, Dove wants to know which shirt they choose to wear.

I decided to take the test. Today will be my first day.

The sample is a 0.5 Oz of Dove Ultimate Clear Smooth Cashmere. I like the smell, not too over powering. I have bought a deodorant that you could smell on someone across the room. I don't think I will have that problem with this brand. I almost forgot to use it. The directions are not any different from other deodorant, "Apply to underarm", I have always wondered what the warning "do not use on broken skin" means. If you shave your armpits, doesn't that count as "broken skin"? Whatever, I shaved and used it anyways. It glided on smoothly. Just as I thought, the scent is perfect. Not too strong and not too light. It was a good day to test it, since it was over 90 degrees. However, I spent most of it indoors. It worked well.

Day 2: Before I took a shower, I inspected my armpits to see if there was any change in the skin. I was surprised to see that there was, in just a couple of days. The skin was defiantly softer. I like this already.

Day 3: It was much hotter today, and I spent some time doing yard work. When I was done, I was sweaty all over except for my armpits. Dove gets an A+ for that.

Day 4: On this day, I wanted to test the clearness of this "Ultimate Clear" formula. Because we all know how much is sucks when you put your shirt on, look down and see white, especially when it is your favorite shirt or you just really wanted to wear it. So far, I have not noticed any white on my shirts or anything like that from Dove's Ultimate Clear, but I want to make sure. I got a dark blue shirt and ran the deodorant over it as if I was applying it. Nothing. I did it again but this time I really applied it. Four passes with the deodorant, and you could not see it at all. Many of brands of deodorant have claimed to go on clear, this is the only one (in my opinion) that actually does. I like that it does not leave a residue as most do. When I rubbed my hand over where I put it on the shirt, I could not feel anything.

Day 5: Well, it is the last day. I am sold; I will abandon my old brand and buy Dove. My armpits are sleeveless ready. Go to Dove online and get your free sample ASAP. Get your "armpitties" ready for summer!!!
