Tales of the Bounty

Introduction Part 2

Patrick W. Marsh
Five of them that have come. All are very different, but two are similar. That similarity is present due to blood. They are brothers, one younger and one older. They're the most powerful. Their father had not wished for them to be here. They have one night for the canals and gates to be closed. Trains run to the city beneath the waves. Hidden and washing the deep in light, the company has halted them, and paid off the conductors.

It is quite a sight in the deep on the worlds edge, when the trains run. Black water, falling water, and all the light mixed and smeared as the trains run. An underwater metropolis. The company has a trump card as well besides the hunters and trains, a machine programmed to capture him. Steel scales and false skin might be harder to trick then a variety of hunters. And He has seen many hunters. One night is all they have to attain him, and dissect him. He will evade them or He will kill him.

I do not know his name as narrator but I will. They do not know his name either, they may learn, if they prove themselves worthy. The immortal is not a rich man, though he could have been. He is strong, trained to survive the thousand years. I do not know where he is in the chain of men and woman that visit him, but who cares about the rankings. Any man can be a monster in nine hours. If I were to pick one man to survive this, I would not know where to begin. Obviously I could not pick the living dead He has heavy odds weighed against him. The brothers are infamous and famous as well, they might endure. The older brother Attila, he might survive. He may kill everyone.

So they have come to the city of Farcry for one night all the legends, and all the monsters. Nine hours to capture him. Nine hours to kill him. Nine hours to evade them. Nine hours to save him.

Once upon a dreary night.
