Ahh.. The tales series. For those of you who are not too familiar with the series, it's a great beloved group of games with memorable characters, stories, and games from Japan. Tales of Symponia (TOS) is no exception, the most touching and most fun of all the games. And here's why.

Graphics and Audio 21/25
Hm.. Well I experienced this game on the Gamecube and it did not bother me one bit. I personally thought the graphics totally suit the game. The introduction movie when the game start is very awesome and it made me wish there was a whole anime series on it. I am aware that there were OVA episodes out and I actually saw a few of them. The audio is pretty awesome too. The music is alright.. What really had me not skipping and scenes were the voice acting. Yes! It is pretty funny to me that the main character of the series, Lloyd, is voiced by the same person who played the voice of Robin from Tenn Titans. But really, the voices are great with only a few downplayed lines.

Gameplay 22/25
The gameplay is nothing new to the series. You walk around, learn the story, grab allies along the way, dungeon, and kill some bosses. The only thing that really stands out is the battles. Similar to the other games, it is in real time where you and your allies run around a map and defeat enemies using weapons and skills. Hard to explain but trust me, it's great. Always sound good when you pull off a combo and see your grade go up.

Creativity 22/25
Speaking of grade. This is one of the creative things I have found about the game. After each battle you are rewarded with grade with acts as currency to purchase special items needed to aid characters. Also this grade is accumulated to give players a chance to play the game again. Purchasing things such as times two exp and keeping items at the end of the game will drive players to play to their best.

Fun 24/25
What can I say about this? With a whole cast of fun characters and great gameplay, the interesting story just makes this game too awesome. To me, this game is the best game on gamecube. If you haven't tried this game yet yet, what are you waiting for?
