Flaming Thunks

The firehose it blasted

and the thud was sounded:

the flame was under attack,

it knew it was surrounded


the raging flame furied

it hit the stone wall with a thunk...

it was thinking furiously:

it left a think print


the flame was a body

a body in revolt:

a revolting body...

it was an actual body,

a body in revolt

that thunked the stone wall


the thunk was impressive:

it left an impression


I can still see the thunk print

on the stone wall:

it still dents my eyes now,

it was an impressive thunk!
