Talking Rain Premium Water

Mandarin Twist Water Review

As I am always intrigued by unique and different beverages. When I saw Mandarin Talking Rain water I had to try it because I am crazy for orange flavored anything! In this product review I will focus on Talking Rain premium mandarin orange flavored water in an effort to help other consumers make an informed buying decision when shopping for flavored water beverages.

The packaging for Talking Rain mandarin twist naturals is pretty sweet and enticing. The square bottle is colorful in orange, yellow, bronze and clear. I found this 19 fluid ounce bottle very hard to resist despite the heft price of $1.70 per bottle.

Talking Rain Mandarin water is 100% natural, it does not contain any preservatives or artificial sweeteners. The packaging claims that this is an ultra premium water beverage. It contains less than 25 calories per 19 fluid ounce bottle. It sounds like a great way to drink more water and it sounds like a fantastic product.

After refrigerating the water I took a drink and was quite surprised. I expected a slightly different flavor than I faced with Talking Rain mandarin flavored water. This water beverage is definitely low in sugar. It is not at all sweet, in fact I would describe the flavor of this ultra premium water to be very sour and the flavor is hard to get past. Drinking standard tap water is more enjoyable than drinking Talking Rain Mandarin water in my opinion.

I think I paid too much per bottle for this product. Should I run across Talking Rain mandarin twist naturals water again I would not pay 5 cents per bottle for it. I did not enjoy the flavor or the price. The square bottle is cool but what is inside counts in this case. I just could not get past the sour flavor or the bitter aftertaste of this ultra premium flavored water beverage. I have not seen or tried any other flavors made by Talking Rain. With this being my only experience with this product I do have to wonder if maybe I had purchased expired or the product was somehow tainted. That would explain the gross taste.

I probably would not recommend this product to others because it really does not have a great taste. I do not like the idea of drinking bitter and sour water when tap water is just bland and not gross.
