Tamara Greene's Death Not Linked to Detroit Mayor's Mansion
Drug Rival Possible Cause of Stripper's Death
Detroit, MI 48215
United States of America
In 2003, investigating former official Lt. Alvin Bowman of Detroit Police Department suspected the shooting of Greene to be by the hands of another law enforcement officer, and began his probe. For whatever reasons, the case went cold - to some - but not completely. Greene's family wanted justice. Investigative reports emerged, leaving some evidence to point out that Greene may have been a victim of the [wild] streets of Detroit. It had been released as evidence of Greene having danced [strip] at a private party just two weeks before her murder at a low-rated hotel in metro Detroit. It was stated of this event having been the place where Greene had difficulties with a guest at the party, ending in an altercation, and with her having two black eyes. Of course, this incident was "investigated", and went just as cold as the first few attempts.
Greene's family filed to sue the city of Detroit in 2005, with claims that the investigation had been prevented on purpose. Greene had left three young children to cherish her memories, and the families wanted compensation. This too, would take a back burner ... until, three years later.
In 2007, Kilpatrick found himself under a pile of political woes; his troubles were just starting. A Whistle-blowing case was in action, with two former Detroit police officers claiming to have lost their jobs due to investigating the alleged Manoogian Mansion party (2002). The murder of Tamara Greene re-emerged - full blast. But not enough to take front seat of more political drama for Kilpatrick. While certain officials scandalized Kilpatrick in the courts, investigations picked up on Greene's case. A break was soon to happen, and in August of 2008, police were investigating Darrett King, young man reported to having assaulted Greene at a hotel party just before her death. Apparently, officials came up short, because they returned back to the alleged party at the Manoogian Mansion, and Kilpatrick.
Since then, Kilpatrick has been jailed, and forced to return to court for the Greene case. It was filed on Thursday, September 16, 2010 stating the death of Tamara Greene was not connected to former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, or the alleged party at the Manoogian Mansion in 2002. I say to the attorneys of the city: "Is there some form of apology here to be made?"
