Larry Mendte , a Philadelphia CBS KYW-TV news anchor was given three years probation and six months of house arrest for hacking a fellow anchor's email. "He admitted that he was jealous of Alycia Lane on the day he entered his plea.'

That is innacurate! He never admitted to that. Mendte claimed in a statement that his job was threatened. That Lane was undermining him with the new boss who had taken a liking to her.

    John Herring:

Your logic and your spelling appear to be the level of a 12 year old and these comments are supposed to be for adults only. Mendte was obsessed with Skank Lane for some crazy reason. My question is: Why does his wife Dawn Senseless still have a job ? Mendte was reading emails from every machine they owned at all times of day and night and she was obviously part of this fiasco or at least knew about it.

Your reporting on the Larry Mendte case is just plain innacurate. He neve admitted to being jealous of Alycia Lane. In fact, he has denied that. Mendte admitted to an improper relationship with Lane and when his wife found out about it he broke it off. He said Lane then tried to get him fired. Mendte was a well paid, well respected and succesful anchor in town. The jalosy motvation claimed by Lane's attroney never made any sense and no one in Philly bought it.
