1 - 2lb. bag of Sauerkraut (do not drain)
2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Onion Powder
1 Tbs. Ground Sage
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1 Can of Beer
Mix all ingredients - except beer in roaster pan. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 2 hours, stirring about every hour. Remove from oven stir in about 3/4 of the beer. Cover and bake an additional 1 hour. Uncover and bake another hour, until golden brown. Add hot-dogs and bake until dogs are plump - usually about 10 - 15 minutes.
Serve hot-dogs cut up in the kraut or on buns with drained kraut and mustard. Yummmmm!
