Target Black Friday Deals: Target Plans for $3 Appliances with Black Friday Ads

Target Black Friday Deals Are Already Being Leaked Out for Its November 27th Sales

Target's Black Friday deals are already being leaked for Black Friday 2009. Target's 2009 Black Friday deals include many mark-downs on appliances, with some selling as cheap as $3.00 a piece. The intent of cutting the costs with some Black Friday deals is to get people in the door, and Target is trying to lead the way with some early revelations on what will be on sale for 2009's Black Friday. Black Friday 2009 will fall on the Friday after Thanksgiving once again, with the 2009 date set for November 27th. Expect stores to be open early that Friday, and for many of the deals to go fast.

Fourth quarter sales are always extremely important for stores and that is why sales like this get a lot of promotion early on. For retail businesses, the fourth quarter is considered October through December, and it's the key time for a business that has been running in the red to suddenly get their sales into the black. Running in the red is the term used for running the business at a financial loss, and bring in the black means that the business is making a profit. That's where Black Friday gets its name, because this is the first major day of the year where businesses hope that sales will push them into profitable numbers for the year.

The early look at the 2009 Target Black Friday deals comes from two web sites (CNN and Gottadeal.com), and while it's only a partial release of what will be going on sale at Target on November 27th, its meant to whet the appetite of potential customers. The Target advertising method this season is to go with $3 kitchen appliances, where they will be marking many Chefmate coffeemakers, toasters, slow cookers, and sandwich makers down to a $3 price tag. It's a good way to get people in the door to possibly buy other products that aren't on sale, and a good starting point to help people remember what is going to be on sale at Target during Black Friday 2009.

A couple of the other items that are rumored to be part of Target's Black Friday sales are a Westinghouse 32-inch HDTV for just $246, a TomTom GPS Unit for just $97.00, and many toys and clothing marked down 50% throughout the store. Some would argue that Black Friday sales aren't placed on the best products in the store, but Target is hoping that consumers are looking for this type of product in an economy that is still down. The official Target Black Friday advertisement will be released starting on November 22nd of 2009. At that point everyone will know exactly what Target will be marking down for the 2009 Black Friday deals.
