Target: The Only Place You Need to Go for Holiday Shopping

If you're like me, then you have a lot of people on you list and you have no idea what to get for half of them! Although I enjoy getting gift cards I try not to give them as gifts unless I'm absolutely stumped for what to buy. I really don't want Christmas to turn into a mere exchange of $25 gift cards. Why not just pull the money right out of your wallet?

Since I know a lot of people feel the same way I do, I'd like to let you know about a great place to buy gifts, Target. On a budget? Target. Today my husband and I went out Christmas shopping. We went to the mall and bought nothing. We went to Wal Mart and bought nothing. We got to Target and managed to find thoughtful gifts at great prices, for the most hard to buy for people on our list and believe me I have some very hard to buy for people!

At Target they have great gift packages set up in the different departments of their store. In the men's section there are wonderful cashmere scarves for only $25. Shelves of technical gadgets with prices ranging from $5 to $20, you'd be sure to find a great gift for a co-worker or friend. You could bet that your son, husband or even father will have the coolest stocking this year, stuffed with these goodies! I picked up a digital BBQ fork for my step father the "grill king" for only $10!

Over in the food section you'll find great gifts for everyone you know. All on one aisle we found gifts for our 12 year old nephew all the way to our 70 year old vegetarian uncle, and a few people in between. I consider my nephew's gift to be a really great find. It's a "Holiday Pack" of Jones Soda Co. sodas, it includes some pretty outrageously flavored sodas, like "Turkey and Gravy", "Sweet Potato", "Diner Roll", "Pea" and even an "Antacid" flavored soda to finish off the bubbly liquid meal. I know my nephew is going to have a blast trying each on of them, and trying to get me to taste them as well. The best part is that it only cost $10!

Are you wondering what I found for that vegetarian uncle? Well I picked up two things for him, an "Asian Noodle Set" which includes bowls, chopsticks, noodles, ginger sauce and sesame seeds. It's a very attractive set and at only $12.99 I had no problem picking him up a little something extra. The "Cheese Accessory Kit", also for 12.99, was sitting right next to the "Asian Noodle Set" on the shelf, I couldn't decide between the two so I had to get them both. "The Cheese Accessory Kit" is an absolute must buy for the cheese lover in you life. It includes four stainless steel cheese knives, a knife stand, and three flavored jellies that go great with cheese and crackers.

Now what about the in between? Coffee or tea, everyone prefers one or the other, my family happens to love coffee. We found a great cappuccino set for my husbands Aunt and Uncle, who are always frequenting the Starbucks. I picked up a French Press Coffee Set for my own mother who rather prefers the "European experience." For the other side they carry lovely tea sets with a variety of specialty teas. Anyone on your list who might prefer a beverage with a little bit of a kick? Handsome martini, daiquiri, and mixed drink set will take care of them.

I couldn't believe all the great buys I found at Target. We're on a budget, just like pretty much everyone else. Therefore I set out to find thoughtful quality gifts at a reasonable price. I found that and more at Target, I'd say that it beats the mall any day!
