I was surprised at how easy and quick this chicken salad recipe is to make. Imagine, no more tossing out those left over chicken pieces or freezing them and forgetting about them. Here is a great and very tasty chicken salad recipe to try. This chicken recipe serves up to four people. So, lets get started with this chicken salad recipe which is easy and very inexpensive to make.

Chicken Salad Preparation

Step One - Are you ready to prepare the chicken salad? Well, lets get started. The first step in this chicken salad recipe is to gather together all the required ingredients. This saves time and speeds up the preparation process in making the chicken salad. The chicken salad ingredients include the following.

Two cups of cooked and diced chicken
Two cups thinly diced celery
Two hard-boiled eggs
Pickle relish (optional)
Mayonnaise/Salad Dressing
Salt
Pepper
Lettuce
Mixing bowl
Mixing utensils

Step Two - Take the mixing bowl and add the diced chicken and celery. Mix the diced or chopped chicken and celery thoroughly together with a large mixing spoon or fork.

Step Three - Now take the hard boiled eggs and slice the hard boiled eggs up or chop them up into small sizes. Some might prefer to mash the eggs up with a fork. Combine the eggs with the other ingredients in the mixing bowl. Mix them together with mixing utensil.

Step Four - Season the chicken salad ingredients in the mixing bowl with salt and pepper to taste. And mix again with mixing utensil.

Step Five - .Add mayonnaise or salad dressing. Or those watching their calories might prefer a low-cal salad dressing. This is a perfectly acceptable alternative. Now, mix lightly with the other chicken salad ingredients in the bowl.

Step Six - Serve the freshly made chicken salad on a few crisp lettuce slices and garnish with a few tomato slices. Place on a large platter. And enjoy the chicken salad!
