My favorite dish is the penne vodka. But I request something special added for an extra few bucks: sliced grilled chicken. Combined, it makes for the perfect dish, and even with the few extra bucks, the price is still quite reasonable. The quality of food at Fratello's is superb.
Located right around the corner from Rod's Olde Irish Tavern, the pair of restaurants gives you a great selection of good food at affordable prices. My fiancé, who loves Italian food, says that "Fratello's is a magnificent place for a quiet sit-down dinner. It would make a great setting for a scene in The Sopranos. But don't worry, you can dine at Fratello's without the fear of getting whacked. Their Italian cuisine is prepared with great care, and the service is excellent. The staff is always on top of things, and great attention is paid to every last detail. Every pasta dish is enjoyable, and their chicken is always cooked to perfection. Even the dishes on their bar menu - like their burgers - are very, very good. Fratello's is great for a relaxing lunch or a leisurely dinner."
Fratello's is also a great date place. It's dark, cozy and romantic. Fratello's offers a bit of an Old World feel, yet it also has a few televisions going that you will hardly notice. Unless, of course, you are with a sports fan who is interested in the game.
My fiance's mother turned us on to Fratello's by saying, "The staff at Fratello's is so friendly that I feel like I am a member of their family when I dine there. Only no one in my family can cook quite like they can. Their Italian cuisine is delicious and finely prepared. I have tried just about every restaurant in Central New Jersey, and Fratello's remains one of my favorite. I highly recommend it."
If you live at the Jersey Shore or are simply in the area visiting, be sure to check out Fratello's in Sea Girt, New Jersey, for some tasty, authentic Italian cuisine.
