Picking fresh blackberries is a favorite time for most. Making things with them is also fun. If you like to try fresh recipes with fruit, you will like these.

Blackberry Smoothie

I love smoothies. So here is my recipe for a quick yummy blackberry smoothie.

Two cups blackberries.

One cup milk.

Two cups ice.

Two tablespoons honey.

One cup strawberries.

One cup vanilla yogurt.

Mix together in a blender milk , ice, honey, an blackberries. When well blended and the other ingredients. Blend to your favorite smoothie consistency. I like it more thick, but you can do it to your liking.

Blackberry Parfait

Parfaits are very good. Parfaits are healthy if you add the right ingredients.

Get a cup, or how ever many you plan to make, set them out.

Take about one cup blackberries, put in them in each bottom of the cups.

Now take a half a teaspoon and drizzle honey over them.

Add in a half a cup of vanilla yogurt.

Add another one cup blackberries.

Then sprinkle on a handful of granola.

After your done with that, drizzle another half a teaspoon over the top.

There you have a healthy, quick, and yummy blackberry parfait dessert!

Blackberry French Toast

This recipe is very yummy for the kids. Also fun for them to help you make! A very good breakfast.

Take a loaf of whole wheat bread and grab out about two slices per person in your home(more if you want left overs).

Mix in a bowel Two cups milk and two eggs.

Add in one and a half cups blackberries.

Half a teaspoon cinnamon.

Half teaspoon honey.

Mix it all together.

Heat the frying pan to medium.

Take each piece of bread, dip it in the mixture. Cook till its golden brown.

Serve with syrup, jams, butter, anything that suits you.

All three of these recipes are tasty. Easy to make. Also very enjoyable. I enjoy making these for the kids after going on a nature walk down by the river, picking fresh bowls full! I hope you and your family enjoy these blackberry recipes also.
