The Jaguar XJ is the second new car launch after Jaguar XK was introduced soon after it too over. Jaguar XJ will joining the luxury brands stable as part of Jaguars next generation models.
The model will be introduced in the presence of Jaguar Cars Managing Director Mike O'Driscoll and retired American chat show host Jay Leno.
The Jaguar XJ will be available with all of GEN III petrol and diesel engines. Including the V6 diesel and the supercharged V8 that delivers 510 PS. The design is clearly inspired by the popular XF sedan and makes the XJ a perfect car for spirited driving. The Jaguar XJ is expected to rake in huge profits for the company. The introduction of XJ will expand the Jaguar portfolio from the existing three models to four.
Tata Motors introduced Jaguar and Land Rover in India recently. They introduced three Jaguar models the - XF, XKR coupe and XKR convertible. Tata had also brought in Land Rover model- Range Rover, Rnage Rover Sport and Discovery 3. These British car brands are well known across the world for their style and performance. Tata Motors had acquired these brands in June 2008 from Ford Motors.
