Tattered Cross

Casey C
The whispering winds,
seize a moment of silence.
Covered by darkness.
Angered by sin.
Our time to decease,
in the hands of our father.

A sign from our father.
Lightning slashes through the winds.
Acceptance of our decease.
Our destiny has silence.
Remorse for our sin.
Light covers darkness.

Mind confused by the end of darkness.
Sins forgiven by our father.
Rejoice forgiven sin.
Sounds returning to the winds,
no more surrounded by silence.
He is not ready for the decease.

A chance to spare decease.
See the future, no more darkness.
Pounding nails break the silence.
Tattered in wood our father.
Whistling the winds.
What caused us to sin.

Control the urge to sin.
Escape the hands from decease.
No more force in the wind.
Our minds covered in darkness.
Erasing our sins, our father.
A moment of silence.

Bending nails barely holding, a moment of silence.
Life should be without sin.
Carried the tattered wood of a cross, our father.
Defeat in his decease.
Pray for a moment of darkness.
Settle once more the winds.

Silence surrounding decease.
His life for our sins, less darkness.
Winds rest, To our God, our father.
