The Taurus Gardener
The Taurus garden hosts multiple varieties of deeply rooted carrots, beets, potatoes and turnips. Deep root gardens flourish under the Taurus care. Plants from classic gardens are favored and Taurus appreciates the "tried and true" plants of heirloom quality, so many plants of any color blooms in the flower gardens. Native or cottage gardens abound with wild flowers and climbing vines. The Taurus gardener loves to feel the earth under their feet and will kick off their shoes whenever possible and has no problem getting hands dirty in planting and maintaining their gardens.
The Taurus Food
The Taurus cook has a heightened sense of taste and touch and prefers comfort foods to fads. They also have a sweet tooth, so marshmallows, cinnamon and nutmeg are winners here. Earth signs are for practical foods so hearty dishes with flavors of parsley and mint are good. All forms of potato chips, potato fries, baked potatoes or mashed potatoes will be found as staples in the evening meal on the table, accompanied with comfort meats such as meatloaf or pot roasts. The Bull wants meats full of flavor.
The Taurus Personality
The Taurus personality differs greatly from all the other zodiac signs. They manage to discreetly stay apart from the crowd, even though they are considered "social". The Taurus will let others get close, but only as close as they want them. Considered stubborn by some, the Taurus personality may not argue a point, but just will not budge on their beliefs and opinions. Their feelings, fears and desires often run far deeper than anyone around them would guess, while the true spirit remains hidden behind a wall of daily activities. Sometimes the Taurus is considered snobbish, withdrawn, boring of even sulky.
The Taurus loves nature and often owns multiple pets. They are extremely sensual beings and they deal well with the personal, physical senses and all the pleasures associated with what they can see, touch, smell and taste.
Underneath their cool, calm and collected exterior, the Taurus personality can be elusive and secretive and hates to be put into jeopardy of any kind. This is the sign that strives to create tomorrow in advance and loves discipline and organization. Aggressive in relationships, work ethics and financial matters (especially savings), the Taurus life pursuit is "emotional and financial security" and their secret desire is "to have a secure, happy and wealthy life/marriage." The Taurus makes an excellent partner in long-term relationships if deep revelations about their feelings are not expected and given the space to be themselves.
