Tax, Lies, & Videotape

With just a handful of days left before the election, red flags are flying all around the Obama campaign. The question, are the flags flying high enough for the electorate to see? Is there time to uncover the truth behind the troubling issues looming over the promise of an Obama presidency? Will 95% of all Americans feel no tax increase or has the bar been lowered, as Biden intimated, to those making $150,000 a year? If the tax bar can go from $250,000 to $150,000 in two months, how many more hundreds of thousands of dollars will the bar lower by the time a Barack Obama actually takes office? At the current rate, the bar will be reduced an additional $150,000 by January leaving all those making ZERO to be the ones not affected by an Obama tax hike.

Now it's starting to make sense. All incomes will be taxed because anyone working, making money, paying their own bills are in effect "rich" when compared to those not working, not making money, not paying their own bills. Obama is much smarter and kinder than the rest of us. He will see to it that all of the rich peoples' better angels will be shackled and beaten and made to hand over the wages earned through hard honest work on to those who have not had the good fortune of working hard. I don't know about you, but my better angel always gives on its own to the places its heart has deemed most needed. I call the previous work of my better angel, charity. I call what Obama is going to do to my better angel an all out mugging.

Really, the only way the Obama's healthcare program can be made a reality is if all wage earners are taxed to the hilt. If all are not taxed then there will be no universal healthcare, making Obama look like a liar! Heaven forbid Obama ever tell a non-truth. Half-truths about tax brackets, neighbors, acquaintances, business partners, good friends, unrepentant terrorists, babysitters of his children, no biggie but reneging on a campaign promise that tax money will be used to fund a government program, never!

And now there's a videotape, a videotape being withheld from the public by the Los Angeles Times, a videotape that reportedly documents a going away party for a leftist Palestinian professor, Rashid Khalidi, who is well known for his desire and relentless pursuit for the destruction of Israel. The attendee list of this soiree included the junior senator from Chicago who delivered a series of gushings over Mr. Khalidi. A Los Angeles Times reporter wrote in his article about this event that

"the embrace Obama gave to Khalidi and words like those of the professor's going away party have left some Palestinian American leaders believing Obama is more receptive to their viewpoint than he is willing to say."

The Times article notes the presence of Bill Ayers and his "bombshell" of a wife, Bernadine Dohrn. Funny how Obama described Ayers as some guy in the neighborhood yet the connections between Obama, Ayers and Khalidi far exceed the term "some guy in the neighborhood". In fact, Ayers and Khalidi are close personal friends with Obama and Ayers funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars through the Woods Fund (a leftist organization) to Khalidi via the Arab American Action Network. The connections between these three are thick as thieves, literally. Add all of this to the comments of Jesse Jackson predicting Obama's turn away from Israel, Biden forewarning of generated events where Obama will be tested, resulting in actions that the American public may not agree with. Could Biden be hinting to a President Obama switching allegiances when Israel makes the move on Iran? Reading Biden's comments carefully, it is obvious the scenarios have been played out and Obama's responses would not be in line with the expectations of the American people. There is no other reason for Biden to float the caveat.

Obama's self-appointed entitlement to our wages is troubling enough but his lack of honesty is perhaps the most egregious aspect of his character. Like most leftists who have enjoyed the capitalist system, he personally has never lived under such a system. He sees the theories as they play out on paper and believes he can bring them to fruition. Though Obama props up these old socialist, Marxist, communist theories as a new approach, they are truly the same hackneyed, failed approaches of the crappy regimes that have fallen or are limping along as their people, their serfs, remain chained and suppressed. Obama offers nothing new but more corruption and slight of hand. He's a charlatan, plain and simple. If Obama is elected expect the following, a clamp down on dissenting voices (Joe the plumber), a vast increase in government programs (universal healthcare), a radical shift in our foreign policy leaving us at odds with Israel (associations of Wright, Farrakhan, Rezko, Ayers, Khalidi, Jesse Jackson, all anti-Zionists), an economic depression that will render America weak and no longer the leader of the world (trickle up economics), a more divided and angry America than ever before. These will be the realities of an Obama presidency.

On the other hand, if McCain is elected, times will not suddenly be rosy. The world is poised for dire events regardless of the American leadership. McCain will be faced with a Congress that will thwart him every step of the way. McCain will be blamed for all ills that will surely limit his presidency to one term. The Democrats actually stand saving their reputation better with a McCain presidency than they do with Obama. When things turn sour, the only direction of blame with an Obama presidency will be aimed at the Democrats. If the country can survive the next four years under Obama, the experience would usher in a Republican revolution eclipsing even the Reagan years, the operative word being "if".

I do believe America would weather the events lurking on the horizon better under McCain however I do trust America would survive in spite of the predictable mishandlings of an Obama administration. We would have further to dig out but perhaps stronger backs with which to do it. Adversity is always the secret weapon of true success.
