If you are a resident of the United States, it is likely that soon you will have to start thinking about paying your annual taxes to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Yes, this is a necessary ingredient in life, this task of having to give up some of your hard-earned money for the greater good.

Even in the toughest of times, the Internal Revenue Service still asks for its fair share of the money. Many people say they pay too much in taxes, and with unemployment so high people are facing the most difficult choices ever when it comes to decisions about money.

If you think you will have to pay taxes to the IRS in April, you should get started early on making sure you have every deduction or credit available for you when you fill out your IRS forms.

Double and triple check those forms so you will get the maximum refund or that you will have to pay the smallest amount possible. Go straight to IRS.gov and get started on your taxes and finding the forms you need.

Did you know that you may be able to request an extension of time to file your return? This may or may not be the best decision for you but at least it is something work considering. Consult your accountant or tax professional and then review this IRS Web page.

During April you may often see people on the street dressed up in Statue of Liberty or Uncle Sam costumes. These individuals are likely promoting the services of tax preparation companies like H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt.

Try to understand that men or women in these Statue of Liberty or Uncle Sam costumes are likely just trying to earn some money for their family, to put food on the table and pay the rent or mortgage. In these tough economic times, simply smile and wave. Better yet, maybe try H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt and tell the proprietors that you were enticed by the people in the costumes on the corner.

Maybe you would like to try these Statue of Liberty or Uncle Sam costumes during tax season and make a little extra money on the side? Time to put aside your pride and get some cash.

There are lots of places where you can find a Statue of Liberty costume or outfit, for either tax time or for Halloween or both. Consider buycostumes.com or amazon.com.

What about a cool Uncle Sam costume? Have no fear because you can get those too. Head on over to amazon.com or to buycostumes.com. These costumes and outfits are lots of fun, for men, women or children.

Consider the good people dressed up in Uncle Sam and Statue of Liberty costumes this year, that the people in these costumes are trying to lure customers to tax services like HRBlock.com. If you need work too, head on over to these companies and see if they need someone to dress up in a fun costume.
