Nick and Starr arrived next and also chose high and dry. Dan and Andrew's luck didn't follow them from Russia as they got a bad taxi, putting them on the wrong route right away. Ken/Tina and Nick/Starr started doing the challenge around the same time. Ken and Nick easily grabbed the clue with Tina having some issues. We know she's afraid of heights, allowing Starr to catch up. While Tina played with her helmet, Starr was able to get the last part of the clue, sending them on their way and into first place. Their next location was to the Bridge of the Guards, they were off while Tina still walked the trees. She had issues jumping for the clue, but finally did so, putting them back into the race. With both teams done, Andrew and Dan finally showed up. They decided to also do high and dry but still being behind they had to pick up the pace. They finally finished and all teams were racing to the bridge.
Racing to the bridge, Ken and Tina arrived first thanks to a wrong move by the taxi. Tina wasn't too excited to do the zip line though, considering her last run in with the trees. She ended up going first and actually seemed to like the ride. Ken was up next, putting them even further ahead of their "kids" Nick and Starr. After both were done, Ken and Tina had to answer questions from the past ten legs from the race. They had to pull off game pieces, either Road Block, Detour, Route Info or the Pit Stop. There were then 150 clue boxes they had to look for images that corresponded to that leg. They could work together for the task, but it didn't seem to help Ken and Tina as they got the first few wrong. Tina and Ken finally got things rolling, thanks to Tina actually, while Nick and Starr were having issues. They didn't have one yet while Ken and Tina were already up to four. Nick and Starr finally caught up, putting things even. Dan and Andrew were still nowhere to be find as they jumped back into their horrible taxi and still didn't even reach the bridge.
Leg eight was a bad one for Nick and Starr as they forgot that Kazakhstan came before Russia. That gave Ken and Tina the chance to get back on top but Nick and Starr were able to find the last one first, putting them back into first. Nick/Starr then got their next clue, sending them down town. There they had to find a Dinosaur with their next clue. Ken/Tina then finished, putting them not too far behind. Oh yeah, what happened to Dan/Andrew? Oh they didn't even reach the bridge yet while the other two were racing to the finish. While racing to the random Green Dinosaur it was time for some taxi drama! Ken and Tina passed the siblings, and each kept passing back to back. It was kind of pointless but added to the drama I guess. In town Ken/Tina broke away from the other taxi. Their driver said they knew where the building was but Nick and Starr arrived first. They were told they had to search among food carts to find the one from Russia, they were expecting the race to the mat but sadly that wasn't the case.
Both Ken/Tina and Nick/Starr both had the clue for the food carts and both were on their way. Nick/Starr arrived first and they obtained their last clue from the Russian cart. It was time to send them to Voodoo donut but they were told to find "the magic in the hole". Nick and Starr got help from a local and were on their way while Ken and Tina finally got the clue from the carts. Both were then on their way to but luckily Ken and Tina were told a shorter way. Apparently Nick/Starr left soon enough though as they made it to the Donut shop first and were on their way to the Pit Stop. Ken and Tina found it somewhat after and it was time for a taxi race to the finish! Neither were having luck finding a cab but it seems both found one around the same time, well TV time anyway. While Starr freaked out, Ken and Tina prayed. Still no sign of Dandrew. In the end at a Toni and Dallas-less finale mat both Nick and Starr showed up first. The two become the first non-dating/married couple to win in a longer time. After dominating the entire game the two deserved to win. Ken and Tina ended up coming in a close second with Dan and Andrew obviously coming in last place. So that ends the Amazing Race 13, but wait! Before the end Ken pulled out their wedding rings, the two declared themselves back together thanks to their stint on the race. The next season is currently racing so return next year sometime for recaps of The Amazing Race 14!
