I hate doing my taxes - always more complicated than I imagined. No accountant this year as I am in the UK, but I spent 1/2 the year in Florida and 1/2 here. The IRS expects me to pay taxes on my earnings here too, the difference between what I paid in tax here and what I would have paid there. It's wrong isn't it! I have no idea where to start either, but it's too expensive to try and find an accountant from over here. Hoping I don't end up paying more again like last year :(

I dread doing my taxes this year. Had daycare for only a short time, but I'm sure the government, and especially the state, will expect more from me than I can deliver.
