Young, beautiful, talented, and on fire - Taylor Swift not only hit No. 1 with her latest album, "Fearless," won the Favorite Country Female Artist at last weeks American Music Awards, but will also co-host at Wednesday's (December 3) Grammy Award Nominations Concert broadcast on CBS. In between those dates, Swift made time to tape a birthday wish for Britney Spears little birthday concert on "Good Morning America" on December 2.

Swift's in demand status, according to The Boot, also puts her on the cover of the last Cosmogirl, which printed its final issue for December. She was also honored with the title of "The Phenomenon" in Cosmogirl's 2008 Born To Lead Awards. And, of course, there was he obligatory interview.

Taylor Swift told the magazine in true Dorothy-in-the-Wizard-of-Oz fashion that: "I looked up Nashville and learned it was this amazing city where country music lived. I was like, 'That's the promised land of country music. That's where I need to go!'"

Swift believes that the greatest compliment she has received has been from mothers who tell her she is an 'incredible role model' for their daughters. "It's about my character," she said, making it "the biggest honor."

Taylor Swift talks about her influences, such as Faith Hill, and some of the people she would like to record with, like Hill's husband, Tim McGraw, and rapper Kanye West. She said she would also enjoy working with rapper T.I.

Swift has become a superstar in her own right, selling over 3 million copies of her first album, "Taylor Swift," and debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with her second album, "Fearless," in November. She has also set a record for debut singles, which will mark 2008 as a special year for her as well.

Swift is the first artist in history to chart six Top 20 debut singles on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart in a calendar year. With those six singles and seven total tracks on the Hot 100 also tie a record set by Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus).

Without a doubt, 2008 has been a good year for Taylor Swift.

And Swift will be among those performing at the "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!" on December 3. The live performances and 2009 Grammy nominations will take place in the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The concert/nominations show will also serve the secondary purpose of celebrating the opening of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift, who was nominated for the 2008 Best New Artist Grammy, will co-host the ceremony with Mariah Carey. The Foo Fighters, B.B. King, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, and John Mayer are scheduled to perform at the first ever event.

The 2009 Grammy Awards will be held in February 2009.
