Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Dating -- Will He Find Himself in One of Her Songs?

Cute Together or an Odd Couple?

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are dating, as reported by People. The "Speak Now" singer and the "Love and Other Drugs" actor have not publicly announced their union, but have been spotted together in several locations including Nashville where Swift lives. Swift and Gyllenhaal will spend the holidays together before jetting off to Paris.

From the guys her own age to older men?

It is known that Swift used to date Taylor Lautner, 18, and Joe Jonas, 21. But she's also dated an older man by the name of John Mayer, the 33-year-old singer. Now, it looks like Swift has hooked up with another older man, Jake Gyllenhaal, the 29-year-old actor.

Swift is 20 years of age. Technically, she's too young to legally enter a U.S. bar or gamble in a Vegas casino. But she will soon be legal on December 13th. She'll turn 21, but despite that fact, is she too young for Gyllenhaal?

Taylor Swift has experienced an enormous amount of adventures, which can make a girl her age older than she actually is. She's been all over the world and has seen things that most 20 year olds will never see.

Will Gyllenhaal end up in one of Swift's songs?

She may be old enough, but will it last? Will Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal's dating romance survive?

Swift may not like talking about past flames in interviews, but she'll do it in songs. "I've always been comfortable talking about details of my personal life in songs, but still never in interviews," said Swift.

Joe Jonas ended up in "Forever and Always." Taylor Lautner is the subject of "Back to December." John Mayer takes a hit in "Dear John."

If Swift splits with Gyllenhaal, will she write a song about him? If so, will the lyrics be kind as in "Back to December" where Swift apologizes? "But this is me swallowing my pride, standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night."

Gyllenhaal should hope so. Otherwise, we could get Swift in one of her revengeful moods. She went there with "Forever and Always" and more recently in "Dear John" where she wrote, "Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?" Ouch.
