Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, and Keith Urban Headline Bayou Country Superfest Spring 2010
Superstar Lineup Scheduled to Perform at LSU in Tiger Stadium
The two-day music festival will headline the biggest stars in country music. The line-up will feature Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Brooks and Dunn, and Keith Urban. Other artists making appearances will be Jason Aldean, Kellie Pickler, Jake Owen, David Nail, Gloriana, and Justin Moore.
Kenny Chesney has recently announced that he would not be touring in 2010, but stated that he would honor this date since the commitment had already been made.
The music festival will be produced and directed by Quint Davis, who also heads up the Jazz Festival in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Davis had this to say today at the press conference, "We worked really hard to make sure that the music lineup for Bayou Country Superfest lives up the festival's name---Super! And it just doesn't get any more super than Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn and all the other great artists we're so thrilled to be representing next Memorial Day Weekend at this one-of-a-kind event."
Tickets to Bayou Country Superfest will be available through Ticketmaster in a two-day package deal. Children 2 years and under will get in free (no seat). Bayou Country Superfest tickets will go on sale on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10:00 am. Concert tickets are so expensive so I hope you win some. Over here in Australia it is $100 minimum to see anyone. Our family has tickets to Glen Campbell for 28 November. Okay - he's getting on a bit, but it should be great. I saw Keith Urban a few years ago (he grew up a few towns north of where I live) and he puts on a good show. The festival sounds like it will be fantastic.
Yes, it is going to be great! I hope I can win tickets because they are "up there" and who wants to go alone? Not me!
