Taylor Swift Nominated for Two Kids' Choice Awards
Swift is nominated for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song for her hit single "You Belong To Me". Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, and Lady Gaga are also nominated for Favorite Female Singer Award. Joining Taylor in the nominations for Favorite Song are Black Eyed Peas for "I Gotta Feeling", Lady Gaga for "Paparazzi" and Miley Cyrus for "Party in the USA".
The Nickelodeon sponsored awards show features children's favorites in the categories of TV, Music, Movies, Sports, Video Games and even Books. The stars will all walk the "orange carpet" before the awards show, as they make their appearance for the big event.
The 2010 Kids' Choice Awards show will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 7:00 pm Central Standard Time and broadcast live on the Nickelodeon channel.
Other notable nominations are Taylor Lautner for Favorite Movie Actor, Joe and Nick Jonas for Favorite TV Actor, and American Idol for Favorite Reality Show.
This year's show will be hosted by Kevin James, a stand-up comedian and actor. James plays the role of Doug on the TV hit series King and Queen. He starred in the recent movie "Mall Cop", which he also produced and co-wrote. James also lends his voice to character voice-overs in movies and cartoons.
Watch the show on March 27, 2010 to see who brings home the trophies! With Taylor Swift's huge appeal and popularity, I'm guessing that she will win at least one of the two awards she is nominated for.
