The superstar songwriter, songstress just picked up three awards last night at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA. Swift won the big award for Artist of the Year and two awards in the country music category for Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album.

Swift looked gorgeous in a long gold sequined dress that matched her golden hair, which she wore straight and pulled around to the side in a low ponytail. Although a simple style, it looked great with Taylor's evening gown.

Taylor Swift has become a common household name in recent years. She is a wonderful role model for girls, especially pre-teens and teens. Her success in the music business shows her determination to succeed and also shows the younger generation what hard work can bring back to you.
