Taylor Swift's 'Saturday Night Live' Monologue Made Many Laugh
Taylor Swift had a wonderful monologue. You would expect her to have slammed Kanye West for the whole VMA outburst, but she didn't say much. E! Online has some of her lyrics published about Kanye West. Taylor Swift's Saturday Night Live monologue said:
You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye. But there's nothing more to say because everything's okay...I've got security lining the stage
Joe Jonas, Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend actually got teased a lot worse in her monologue than Kanye did. She said:
You might think I'd bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I'm not gonna mention him in my monologue. Joe, I'm doing real well-tonight I'm hosting SNL!
Other highlights for last night's Saturday Night Live include admitting she is dating the werewolf from Twilight, and taking part in a "the View" skit wearing a Kate Gosselin wig.
She opened up to CMT about hosting Saturday Night Live. She informed producers of MTV that she wanted to look nothing like herself during her big hosting debut. Of course, Swift has performed on Saturday Night Live in the past, but she has never hosted the event. She wanted to go 100% and really make her fans laugh.
Taylor Swift accomplished what she sat out to do. She was charming and funny and showed the world that she is much, much more than a pretty face and amazing voice. She is multi-talented, funny, smart, witty, and imaginative. She hasn't lost her innocence like so many other young stars have. She's one of the few young female artists that I would allow my child to listen to. I just hope that Hollywood doesn't take her gentle and beautiful soul and turn her into an over-sexed bad role-model.
