Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez Tie in 13th Annual Teen Choice Award Wins

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were the big winners at the Teen Choice Awards held at Universal Studios Hollywood's Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night, August 7, 2011. Swift and Gomez each took home five "surfboard" awards.


Swift's awards included Choice Female Music Artist, Country Female Artist, Female Red Carpet Fashion Icon, Country Single for her song targeting bullies, "Mean," and Break-Up Song for "Back to December." Swift also took home the Ultimate Choice Award for her contributions to the entertainment field.

Gomez won awards for Choice TV Actress, Female Hottie, Music Group with her band, The Scene, as well as Choice Single Trophy for "Who Says" and Love Song for "Love You Like a Love Song" which was Gomez's selection for her performance at the awards ceremony.

Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez's boyfriend, was also a multiple winner at the Teen Choice Awards racking up wins in four categories for Choice Male Music Artist, Male Hottie, Twit, and TV Villain for his guest appearance on "CSI."

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" took home awards for Choice Sci-fi Movie, Liplock, Villain (tom Felton), Summer Movie Star for Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe. Other multiple winners were Glee, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," "The Vampire Diaries," Demi Lovato, and Robert Pattinson.

Other notable wins included Ellen DeGeneres for Choice Comedian, Cameron Diaz for choice Movie Comedy Actress for "Bad Teacher," and Ashton Kutcher for Choice Romantic Comedy Movie Actor for "No Strings Attached."

The 13th Annual Teen Choice Awards were hosted by Kaley Cuoco, leading lady from "The Big Bang Theory" who kept the young stars entertained by popping random questions concerning current events. Congratulations to all the winners!
