Taylor Swift on 'SNL': Taylor Swift Adorable on 'SNL', Teases Kanye and Joe Jonas

Taylor Swift on 'SNL' Rocked!

Taylor Swift on SNL was adorable. Taylor Swift on SNL was amazing, as Taylor Swift's monologue took us back to the years where Will Ferrell and Tina Fey made us laugh until we cried. Taylor's sweet voice and innocent looks were enough to make everyone fall in love with her all over again.

True to her nice-girl image, Taylor Swift didn't take any mean jabs at her arch nemesis Kanye West or her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas. Instead, Swift took subtle jabs at them that were strong enough for laughs, but weak enough where there would be no hurt feelings.

The thing that I admire about Taylor Swift is that thus far, she hasn't lost her innocence. I remember when Britney Spears first graced the charts. At the time, she was a little sweet and innocent. After a short span of time, she was transformed from innocent Louisiana teenager to an over-sexed maniac. Taylor Swift hasn't made this transition, and I don't look for it to ever happen.

Taylor Swift told CMT that when you are a teenager in the music industry, "you have a lot of people pitching you songs that are kind of older than what you've been through. But I always insisted on writing my own songs and writing songs about the period of time I was actually going through in life, like I write in real time. I try not to go too far ahead of myself. I guess because my songs were so personal, people were able to relate to them and I'm thankful for that."

For this reason, Taylor Swift remains an innocent golden girl, someone you can let your tween daughter listen to. You can even let your teen boy have posters of her, as none of them would be tasteless and scantily clad.

Taylor Swift on SNL was more than just a monologue. She partook in a variety of skits. My personal favorite was a spoof of the "View" where Swift was featured wearing a Kate Gosselin wig. Another favorite skit performed by Swift was a spoof of "Twilight" titled "Firelight" and that featured Frankenstein-ish monsters instead of vampires.

Taylor Swift on SNL was a rare treat. She was a lot of fun, and one of the best guest hosts this entire season. If you missed SNL last night, head online for various clips of Taylor Swift's monologue and skits. You won't be disappointed, and you will be highly entertained and enjoy every minute of her appearance.
