Taylor Swift Speak Now World Tour Sold Out in Singapore

Taylor's Fans Love Her Even If Jake Gyllenhall Doesn't

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal ended their relationship after dating from October 2010 to December 2010. Taylor seems to have a problem finding a lasting relationship with a guy, but she definitely doesn't have any problem maintaining one with her fans.

There was much speculation as to what broke the seemingly happy couple up (nicknamed Jaylor by some). One gossip site says that a "source" confided that Gyllenhaal freaked out when Taylor gave him a spreadsheet listing her tour dates and times she could see him between appearances. According to the source, Gyllenhaal wasn't ready to move the relationship in that direction so quickly. He bailed out with a telephone call.

Personally, I agree with the writer who said Jake looks worse coming out of it. Taylor Swift is barely out of her teens. Jake knew that, and he dated her anyway, which makes him look like a middle aged man who likes much younger women who act like little girls.Reportedly, Gyllenhaal and Swift were seen in what seemed a serious discussion at a Vanity Fair party recently with security guards surrounding them so that no one could get close enough to hear what was being said or take photos.

Will her fans soon hear a song regarding Gyllenhaal? What will it be called? Let's have a fan vote for "name that song/name that brokeback"

On second thought, since Taylor seems to have no problem maintaining a relationship with her many fans, maybe she should let them pick her soul mate for her? Perhaps a stockbroker type like her Dad?

Jake just seemed too far to the left politically for Taylor, not to mention too old, and the many rumours of him being gay. Of course a gay man can be happily married to a heterosexual woman. But most heterosexual women can't be happily married to a gay man--kind of takes all the fun out of the relationship. After all, most women want to be number one in their guy's mind, not number two. Or was the whole relationship just a PR stunt to garner younger fans for Jake and older fans for Taylor?

Anyway, Taylor doesn't have too much time to mourn the loss of yet another relationship, as she is busy with her world tour and receiving lots of "fan love," as reported on her website, taylorswift.com.

Taylor has also started a new relationship with Glee star, Chord Overstreet.

After the couple were spotted at a hockey game last week, a friend told E! News: "They are dating. It's in the early stages so who knows, but they seem to be into each other."

The pair also attended Harvey Weinstein's pre-Oscar party at Soho House on Saturday (26.02.11) night where a source said: "They spent most of the night talking closely and giggling. He would playfully touch her arm, and she couldn't stop smiling. It was cute!!"

And, she can always count on her friends, Abigail Anderson, best friend since high school, and celebrity friends, Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, and Kellie Pickler.

Taylor Swift kicked off her SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR today with a sold-out show at Singapore's Indoor Stadium. She is currently slated to play 90 shows in 19 countries spanning four continents on the TAYLOR SWIFT SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011.

Fans began arriving at the Stadium more than 24 hours early for the show, which featured the 4-time GRAMMY winner performing on two different stages, playing several different acoustic and electric guitars, and also the piano and the ukulele. Taylor wowed the capacity crowd with a more than 90-minute set that showcased songs from her triple-platinum Speak Now album and also featured several favorites from her previous CDs. The crowd was on its feet the entire evening, which included several costume changes as well as multiple sets, video elements and graphics presentations.

Taylor tweeted after the show: "THAT SHOW RULED!! Thank you Singapore. My band and I love you. And your dancing and jumping and singing and screaming! Good times."

Taylor is touring the world this year in support of her Triple-Platinum blockbuster Speak Now album, which shattered sales records and sold over a million copies in its first week of release. Taylor's shows around the globe are selling out within minutes of tickets going on sale, including stadium shows in Boston, Philadelphia and Detroit.

The tour continues with a show on February 11 in Seoul, South Korea and visits several countries in Asia this month before heading to Europe in March. The North American leg of the tour kicks off in May. An updated listing of tour dates is available at: www.taylorswift.com/tour.
