Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band Win 2010 Grammy Awards; List of Grammy Winners Included

Country/pop crossover darling Taylor Swift scored big once again, this time at the 2010 Grammy Awards. In the categories devoted to country music, the bubbly 20-year old grabbed awards for Best Female Vocal Country Performance and Best Country Song for White Horse, in addition to Best Country Album for her mega-hit autobiographical disc Fearless. Fearless also won one of the night's biggest honors when it beat out the offerings from Beyonce, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and Dave Matthews Band to take Album of the Year.

Other big winners of the night were rockers Kings of Leon, who took the 2010 Grammy Award for Record of the Year with Use Somebody; Beyonce, who won Song of the Year honors with Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) along with several other R&B and Pop genre nods; and country music's new kids on the block, Zac Brown Band, who accepted the Grammy for Best New Artist.

Zac Brown Band's win spells out a big victory for country music at-large, which has already experienced recent gains in popularity with crossover favorites Taylor Swift and Darius Rucker (formerly of Hootie and the Blowfish) drawing new fans via their poppish, unconventional sound. Zac Brown Band's debut studio album The Foundation has enjoyed success thus far, spawning country chart-loving singles Chicken Fried and Toes, and the stirring Highway 20 Ride.

In accepting her Grammy for Best Country Album, Taylor Swift maintained the air of charming innocence that's won the admiration of many a fan when she gushed "I just feel like I'm standing here accepting an impossible dream right now and I thank you so much for that".
