TBS Presents the Funniest Commercials of the Year 2010

TBS recently showed the top ten funniest commercials voted by their viewers on Very Funny Ads.com as a special presentation. It was hosted by Isaiah Mustafa. Is that name not familiar? Ok, he is the guy on the Old Spice commercial that every woman wishes her man was like, or at least smelled like. Is it coming to you now? He says at the end of the commercial; "I'm on a horse." Ok, now you remember. I thought you would!

So here are the top 10 voted commercials by viewers around the world:

10. The hip hop hamsters from the Kia Soul commercial. They are singing to the effect that you can deal with this or you can deal with that (the green Kia Soul) instead of a toaster, a cardboard box or a front loading washer. Very inventive but unfortunately, I have only seen a very few Kia Souls in my travels and none of them have been in that pea soup green.

9. The ninth commercial came from Brazil and is about a male massage therapist for gorgeous models. He is complaining about his job meanwhile they show him massaging these beautiful women. It is for an online job hunt called www.dreamjob.com.br and only goes to show that all jobs have a downside no matter how they look to others.

8. The eighth is a Bud Light commercial where four pretty girls are having a pillow fight and barely hitting each other demonstrating the TOO LIGHT. Then Helga comes in and beats the daylights out of them showing the TOO HEAVY. Bud Light is not TOO HEAVY and not TOO LIGHT but JUST RIGHT.

7. Number seven from the Netherlands, features a Heineken commercial where four ladies are sitting on the sofa watching television while their guys are gathered around the table talking in a studio apartment. As they announce the program and the girls squeal, they break for a commercial of "men with talent." First is a guy juggling beer mugs filled with beer, a guy at a refrigerator tossing beer bottles over his shoulder to his friends on the sofa behind him, and a group of men playing music by blowing into empty beer bottles like a chorus would do and various other similar tasks. The end of the commercial shows the guys sitting on the sofa squealing while the girls are at the table.

6. The sixth is the sexy little boy with a diaper that looks like jeans. He is a tiny pooping human who looks like #1 when he goes #2. This is for Huggies Little Movers. Need I say more?

5. Another from The Netherlands features a young mother driving her daughter who is dressed in a uniform home from school. She is pulled over by a policeman and you actually read the mother's lips as she mouths the word sh**! The cop looks back at the girl who is writing on a pad and asks the child if mommy is in a bit of a hurry? The kid whispers; "that's not my mommy" and shows him the pad with the word HELP written on it as the cop demands the woman to step out of the vehicle now! 4. Featuring David Hasselhoff asking us to imagine that our computer password is an oscillating fan and David Hasselhoff does not like this fan because it messes his hair. Do you allow David Hasselhoff to have his way with your oscillating fan? If not use Norton Internet Security 2011 and protect your oscillating fans from David Hasselhoff.

3. Without a doubt, the Old Spice commercial featuring the host had to be one of the top three and was voted the number three favorite. He gets out of the shower and tells the ladies to look at your man, now look at me, back to your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn't me, but if he stopped using lady-scented body wash he could smell like me. I'm sure you know the rest, but you can see it again by going to the website.

2. In second place was the Snickers commercial featuring the red hot Betty White playing football and getting tackled in the mud. Another oldster was in this commercial, Abe Vigoda who played Fish in the old Barney Miller series and then had his own show after Barney Miller went off the air.

1. Without a doubt the first place commercial voted by the fans is from the United Kingdom and features a couple of guys making a maze for a goldfish named Mr. Memory. As the fish goes through very innovative designs, one wrong turn could put him into a cat's mouth. It is for bottled water called Drench.
