Tea Party, an Emotionally Charged Phrase

Be forewarned: this is going to be an "emotionally charged" posting!
We've all learned about the "emotionally charged" words and phrases designed to produce an emotional impact. Let's consider the words "Tea Party" as it applies to the early American determination for independence, at Boston Harbor. Any good American hearing the phrase "Tea Party" will swell with pride. His first impression then of any "Tea Party Movement" will forever be influenced by that noble first impression.

The Tea Party now inflaming the passions of Americans is an extreme "right wing" movement. Right wing or "conservative" in this day and age means we are less concerned about individual American rights (after all they don't know much beyond what they are told) and more concerned about the power of corporations; the ability of individual Americans to make money in the economic sphere. Conservatives support the rights of corporations to make unlimited contributions to politicians and lawmakers. An example: Suppose you live in an urban area of America; every night you hear gunshots; children being shot in their beds by gang bangers is daily news. But suppose a corporation that makes guns, or ammunition, or products that are used to clean guns is prepared to make very large contributions to politicians! The right wing encourages these contributions. The liberal left wing doesn't have extra money coming in, and has only words to warn the voters.
Guns in the hands of Americans means easy access to guns in the hands of wrongdoers; criminals, and gangbangers. As John McCain and every gangbanger knows, there is no fun in having a gun if you don't pull the trigger. Many thought McCain felt badly about his "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran", but aware individuals such as ourselves know he still feels that way. McCain is clearly incompetent, unfit for any public office.
I am rambling. I shall continue to ramble.

Emotionally charged words: "Hockey Mom". You already see where this is going.
The currently popular "Hockey Mom" was involved in a scheme to make a "Bridge to nowhere" at taxpayer expense. That individual determined to rid certain books which displeased her from libraries, completely disregarding any thought of rights of freedom of speech. We here "hockey mom" we think, "Good!".

Currently the "Right Wing" (not a particularly emotionally charged phrase) is going to great lengths to obstruct the President of the United States. They have banned together to obstruct his every move with their hands over their ears, and stomping their feet. The extremist would have you know that the man is a minority, and nothing that comes from him could be anything good. They would resort to violence to remove the black man from The White House.

Times change, things change, nothing is permanent. One day we take American liberty for granted. Perhaps a day later will be too late.
